While looking for Guiding Light information, I sometimes find things that I think are of interest relating to other soaps. This collection of Odds and Ends related to various soaps that someone may want to know some time. Look for another odds and ends post soon.

CBS Soaps in Depth named The Young and the Restless bringing in fresh blood British producer Mal Young as Executive Producer. – Thank Goodness! It’s SOOOOOO much better. Read more about it in the Jan. 23, 2017 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth.

Soap Opera Digest‘s latest basic soap question is “Do stars have to create a spark on-screen or is it just there?” It appears in the March 28, 2016 issue.

There is a full feature interview with Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) of The Young and Restless in the December 12, 2016 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth. It includes a classic photo of Davidson in Paul’s old office with his old secretary Lynne. Davidson knows how to play the bagpipes according to the April 4, 2016 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth.

In the December 12, 2016 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) says “I’ve always had two quintessential ‘soap’ storylines on my bucket list,” says the show hopper. “One was playing amnesia, and the other is having an evil twin, so I got to check one off my list [with this Adam and Eve storyline with Quinn during 2016].”
