We’re always glad here at GLManny to report on new projects related to Guiding Light. Recent soap news reports that the one act play Breathing Under Dirt was written by Michael O’Leary (Rick Bauer #5, the adult one we know and love) and directed by his partner in crime Grant Aleksander (Phillip Spaulding #2, the one we knew most of the time).

The one act play is set during the 1950s and stars Tina Sloan (nurse Lillian Raines) and Beth Chamberlain (Beth Raines #2 – the adult Beth) once again playing mother and daughter.

It will be premiere at the Manhattan Repertory Theater in mid-March. Tickets are available for sale now.

The website is not user friendly, but We Love Soaps have pulled out the details.
