A Day in the Life of a Lighthouse

The longtime symbol of Guiding Light was a lighthouse. Although early versions used a model, at least part of the time a real lighthouse was used for establishing shots from fairly early on the TV show run. So while lighthouses always make us remember Springfield, let’s take a minute today and remember all the work that goes on in a real lighthouse to keep the world a little safer for all of us. This is a little different version of Behind the Scenes, but I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Robansuefarm is the handle of one of Manny and Guiding Light‘s biggest fans following in her family’s footsteps of Guiding Light fandom since 1939. This blog is an effort to make it easy to find Guiding Light and especially Manny online. Check back here for her blog, find fanfic previews and fake WSPR newscasts on her YouTube, find podcasts that look back to old shows and audios of her fanfics on Blog Talk Radio, and finally follow her on Twitter and Facebook.
