Odds and Ends Musical Part 2

I’ve been collecting musical references for awhile for Guiding Light and other soaps. I made a first post last year. Check it out:

LeAnn Rimes’s song “How Do I Live” was Mike and Carrie’s theme on Days of Our Lives. Read more about it in the December 22, 1998 issue of Soap Opera Weekly.

The day Sharon confronted Nick over his affair with Phyllis (April 3, 2006) on The Young and the Restless the song was “Swept” by Julia Fordham. Read more detail at the Aug. 22, 2006 issue of Soap Opera Weekly.

According to the Sept. 22, 2009 issue of Soap Opera Weekly the winner of the 2009 winner of the Outstanding Original Song was “We All Fall Down” by Kevin Briody, One Life to Live.

While Nick Newman washed Sharon’s hair in The Young and the Restless on the April 9, 2014 episode they played “Never Ending” by the band Fisher.

The song sang by Patrick and Sabrina at the 2013 General Hospital‘s Nurses Ball and by Epiphany at the 2014 celebration was “You’re Not Alone.” It’s available on 99 cents from iTunes in both versions.  Read more about it at June 16, 2014 issue of Soap Opera Digest.

Over the 2013 holiday season on The Young and the Restless Abby Newman and Tyler were on a beach in Malibu, California. A song played called “California Girl” and it was sung by Johnny Douglas. In the post Hope Logan and Wyatt Spencer miscarriage episode of The Bold and the Beautiful on December 10, 2014 was “Wish I Had The Why” by according to BoldInsider.

According to “Song today for Maxie/Nathan was Dreams….written especially for them!

On the December 5, 2014 episode of The Young and the Restless a song played when Joe brought Aver her favorite cocktail. According to the January 12, 2015 issue of Soap Opera Digest it was “Christmas Time” by Fawn and House DJ Chad Jack. Look for it on iTunes.

On the episode where Hope Logan Spencer lost her and Wyatt’s baby on The Bold and the Beautiful at the end of 2015, they played “Wish I Had the Why.” It was performed by Shelly Fraley and it is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes.
