Odds and Ends 22

While looking for Guiding Light information, I sometimes find things that I think are of interest relating to other soaps. This collection of Odds and Ends related to various soaps that someone may want to know some time. Look for another odds and ends post soon.

One of the things I like to share are the locations where soaps were actually shot. Although the name Esperanza Resort was a bit spot on for the Hope-Liam-Thomas-Steffy storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful, turns out it really was the name of the place. The resort is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and rooms start at $500 a night. Find a photo and information in the Jan. 28, 2013 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth.

Scott Bryce (the first and best Craig Montgomery on As the World Turns) has been busy on both sides of the camera since he left the show for the second time. Most recently he’s produced two episodes based on Civil War stories for Connecticut Public Television’s Young American Heroes series.  His episodes are “The Elisha Stockwell Story” and “The Sybil Ludington Story.” If you’d like to see them be sure to tell your own PBS station. Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) welcomed former General Hospital star Steve Burton with an Entertainment Tonight video.
