Manny Anniversary Hot Air Balloon

This is a little bit of an unusual lighthouse collection post because I’m not going to include a lighthouse, instead one final birthday present a hot air balloon. This fits in because on the one time Manny actually celebrated their anniversary on screen, they rented a hot air balloon. I’m  including a video showing their anniversary and how the hot air balloon fits in.

Manny’s marriage was going through a bit of a rough patch, while Michelle was concerned that Danny was being sucked into the mob and violence again. Meanwhile Rick has developed a degenerative heart disease and is determined that this Bauer BBQ will be one of best ever.

I’m pairing this with a Christmas ornament lighthouse one of my nonsoap watching cousins made for me. It’s made of salt dough and then painted. He tells me he looked up lots of still shots and video from the early 1970s opening. He was really sorry that the best still image he found

was actually a candle and they reversed the order of the stripes. I’m really impressed with all the effort and thought he put into this ornament.
