Often Guiding Light would try out an actor in a small part and then bringing him or her back in a larger part some time later. I’m going to start a few posts showing clips of these actors before and after. My fourth entry is about Bethany Joy Galeotti, better known to Guiding Light fans as the Michelle that set off skyrockets as part of the original Manny.

Then credited as Joie Lenz, Bethany Joy Lenz Galeotti burst on to the Springfield scene as Reva’s Clone (later known as Cleva or Dolly) once she aged to a teenager. She then handed the role over to Kim Zimmer.
She burst back on the screen in November of that same year. This clip shows Michelle fighting with Carmen and Danny and an early sign of romance with Danny although she’s denying it. Manny will go on to be the best soap couple ever – bar none.
